I could do this type of photography all day long. I’m still amazed that there are these places in the world that look just as beautiful today as they did 50, 100 or in this case hundreds and hundreds of years. I feel like living in a city like this would be like living out a fairy tale.
Tonight’s song 2 Miles an Hour by Ludacris
This photo just seemed to call me tonight. There are two things I love about it. 1) The color of the water with the color of the brick wall. 2) The series of arches that obscure what’s behind the big brick wall.
I love mystery. This is the type of scene that makes me want to jump into the water and swim under the arch just to know what is on the other side. It’s like the wall is there to hide something very special and private yet it’s still revealing just a taste of what’s on the other side. It also feels forbidden, but that only makes me want to explore that much more.
Tonight’s song is by request. This one goes out to Giunts, he knows how much I love a good Zebrahead jam. Get Back

Continuing with my trend of trying new things, tonight I learned how to flambe! If you aren’t familiar with the term it means cooking with alcohol and then setting the whole dish on fire. I would have grabbed a photo while the flames circled the pan but I was way too preoccupied with making sure I didn’t do something stupid like set the house on fire.
Here’s what I made
Pork Loin with Sweet Potatoes, Apples, Onions and Cranberries. That’s a cool party trick and I still have my eyebrows.
